This gorgeous quilt won first place for viewers choice in our local quilt guild, and you can see why. There were many hours spent doing the applique as well as assembling this gorgeous piece of art.

 I was very excited that it won because I had had the privilege to quilt it. My client was very resistant to having it custom quilted, firstly because of cost and secondly because she was not sure what she was going to do with it when it was all done.  I had to work hard to convince her to allow me to do a bit of custom on it. I am glad that I did, it finished this beautiful quilt off nicely.
